I work with startups and digital products, mostly B2C, SaaS and automation, and I like the part where an idea turns into something people actually use, from the first line of code to launch.

My work tends toward things with real data behind them. A live transit map is more interesting than a landing page because the feed misbehaves, the schema has to survive summer timetables, and the thing has to keep working at midnight when a bus operator stops publishing. That constraint is where most of the engineering lives.

I build and improve websites, help with design and SEO, and support website promotion and advertising to attract more visitors and turn interest into enquiries.

I build machines to order and hand them over ready to work. Parts chosen for the job rather than the benchmark, assembled and cable-managed by hand, then tuned where it actually matters: BIOS, memory timings, fan curves and a Windows install stripped of the things that slow it down.
